The idea of having a closed ecosystem displaying in the lobby is quite challenging since the design ought to draw people’s attention and, at the same time, not to draw too much attention that it becomes annoying. We took reference from a grandfather’s clock, with different times of bell hits on each number reached by the short hand. Now with each theme and event change on the screen, a short piece of music plays indicating the change. With such soft and short music pieces playing between themes, people stop and look at the virtual terrarium, staring the sky changes and listening to animal calls.
